UPVC painters were a start up business who approached us in 2016 to handle their paid media activity. Their pioneering product transforms the appearance of traditional UPVC window and door frames, allowing individuals to spray paint over the orthodox white frames to a selection of attractive colours. Keen to scale their business quickly, they wanted to set up paid campaigns across adwords and Facebook.
Our paid team conducted extensive research into both keyword and audience data in order to create a comprehensove strategy. We built a brand new adwords account from the ground up, featuring many single keyword adgroups to drive maximum relevance and quality score. We also compiled compelling adcopy, emphasising the businesses USP’s of being cheaper than replacing the windows and pushing the fact that the respray came with a 10 year guarantee.
On Facebook we set up lead gen ads and page like campaigns in addition to remarketing (which was a big part of the overall strategy). Given the visual nature of the product, we knew that having a strong presence on Facebook would be extremely important.
From the very beginning the campaign started to generate a high number of conversion and it was clearly evident there was already a strong demand for this product. However, we identified that we could generate an even higher conversion rate with some site alterations, which were duly implemented. The client quickly increased their initial budget, making paid search and social their primary source of new business.
