The Brief

Invasion are an online travel agency specialising in gap year travel in exotic destinations. Our brief was to generate applications for Camp Thailand and Camp Bali via an integrated digital marketing campaign. One of the key objectives was to find efficiencies after previous campaigns had relied almost exclusively on boosted pages.

Before launching, we devised a comprehensive campaign strategy that identified a variety of custom audience segments, based on different targeting options. We also leveraged the client’s own existing CRM data to further enhance performance. Once live, we split tested ad creative using multiple advert formats (including video and carousel), moved budget around around between the best performing audiences plus also set up custom landing pages using unbounce.

The Results

The average cost per click (across Adwords and Facebook) was reduced significantly whilst the volume of relevant traffic increased by over 400%. We also implemented conversion tracking in conjunction with a third party booking platform.
