We were initially approached by BetterBathrooms.com to do a link clean up and penalty removal (after previous attempts by other agencies had failed to remove the manual action). After a forensic link audit we created and then submitted a new disavow and reconsideration request, resulting in the action being lifted. Following the success, we were subsequently tasked with creating and managing a full off-page SEO campaign encompassing blogger outreach, digital PR and content marketing.
Our outreach strategy was to build links to key commercial pages in order to boost ranking for high volume head phrases such as “bathrooms”, “bathrooms suites and “cheap bathrooms”. Whilst the Digital PR and content activity delivered an increase in authority to the homepage, blogger outreach was used to drive link equity to the most popular category pages.
Reaching out to relevant lifestyle bloggers we placed over 180 links with an average Domain Authority of 34.24. As a result of this we managed to increase overall organic visibility by 121%, as well as driving first page ranking for a huge number of high volume target keywords.
